March On

Happy March 1st! So, for the past couple of days I have been very health-conscious and trying to eat better, more natural foods such as salad, soymilk, organic granola, real yogurt, (not the cups with added sugar), lots of fruit, and whole wheat. This week’s guidelines are, “Don’t Eat Anything That Your Great-Grandmother Wouldn’t Recognize As Food, Avoid Food Products Containing Ingredients That No Ordinary Human Would Keep In The Pantry, Avoid Products That Contain High-Fructose Corn Syrup, or Some Form of Sugar (or Sweetener) Listed Among The Top Three Ingredients.” My biggest effort has gone to looking for this sugar; avoiding it, and when the white granules are necessary, choose real cane sugar rather than Splenda (I just can’t drink coffee without two sugars).

Feliz día primero de Marzo! Entonces, para las días pasados, he sido muy consciente de mi salud y tratando comer mejor con comidas naturals como, ensalada, leche de soya, muesli orgánico, yogur real (no los con azúcar contribuido), muchas frutas, y trigo entegral. Los guías para esta semana son, ‘No come algo que su bisabuela no recogería como comida, Esquiva comida que nadie guardaría en la despensa, Esquiva productos que contiene azúcar de maiz, o azúcar en los tres ingredientes primeras.’ Mi esfuerzo más grande ha ido un esculque para azúcar, no come mucho, y cuando necessito tener azúcar, escojo azúcar real de caña, sino Splenda (no puedo beber café sin dos azúcares…)!
