Happy March 1st! So, for the past couple of days I have been very health-conscious and trying to eat better, more natural foods such as salad, soymilk, organic granola, real yogurt, (not the cups with added sugar), lots of fruit, and whole wheat. This week’s guidelines are, “Don’t Eat Anything That Your Great-Grandmother Wouldn’t Recognize As Food, Avoid Food Products Containing Ingredients That No Ordinary Human Would Keep In The Pantry, Avoid Products That Contain High-Fructose Corn Syrup, or Some Form of Sugar (or Sweetener) Listed Among The Top Three Ingredients.” My biggest effort has gone to looking for this sugar; avoiding it, and when the white granules are necessary, choose real cane sugar rather than Splenda (I just can’t drink coffee without two sugars).
